ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including assistance with daily living activitiesAdminister medications and support health-related tasks as per individual care plansMonitor and report on clients' health and well-being, addressing any concerns promptlyEncourage and assist clients in activities that promote independence and personal growthEnsure a safe and supportive environment for clients at all timesAdhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulationsBuild positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionalsMinimum RequirementsCertificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related fieldHoisting and Manual Handling experience requiredExperience with Dysphagia and Bowel Management requiredAvailability to work on a 24/7 roster including weekdays, weekends and inactive sleepoversCommunication and interpersonal skills with non-verbal participantsValid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicleCurrent first aid and CPR certificationWilling to obtain an NDIS Yellow Card / Blue Card and undergo a criminal record checkHighly DesiredMedically trained personnel such as Nurses, Paramedics and AIN are encouraged to applyAged Care Professionals with 2 years+ experience encouraged to applyProven experience working in high care support or complex needs environmentsKnowledge of the NDIS framework and person-centered approachesAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCompassionate and respectful approach to client careBenefitsEmployee Assistance Program - CounselingTraining & DevelopmentOpportunity for Growth and DevelopmentWork for a Company that Values their EmployeesGreat Incentive Programs
