The main function of a Category Manager at HEQS is to deliver sales through sourcing an exciting range and mix of products that makes for compelling viewing and is in line with the HEQS Channel strategy, the category strategy, and customer profile to maximize revenues and ensure budgets are met. The Category Manager will strategically plan the area to maximize programming, web, and catalogue opportunities within budgeted, QA, and time requirements.
The Category Manager is responsible for Revenue, GP%, GP$$, Productivity, Inventory, and GMROI, and the management of the OTB of the nominated category.
The Category Manager works within the Merchandise Team and liaises and interacts with various other internal partners as well as external partners to ensure the success of the category.

All Standard Operating Procedures/Policies are understood and adhered to. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Minimum 5 years proven success in retail buying.
