We are now looking for Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join the team on site and at the workshop.
This position will provide a great variety of work experience, constantly challenging with great opportunities for training and career development. Equipment includes drilling rigs, compressors, pumps, and heavy vehicles. Successful applicants will be required to be able to travel at short notice.
Skills Required: Proficiency in diesel engine diagnostics and repair Basic welding and fabrication skills Experience with heavy equipment rebuilding and refurbishing Familiarity with maintaining heavy drilling equipment High-Risk LF Forklift License Strong understanding of hydraulic systems Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults S11 Coal Board Medical certification Attributes Required: Capacity to maintain a positive attitude in physically and mentally challenging environments Willingness to travel to various sites and remote locations for field service and repairs Genuine passion for machines and an eagerness to understand their mechanics Computer literacy and an openness to adopting new technologies Enjoys collaborating with small teams to tackle challenges A commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth Required Qualifications: Relevant trade certificate Ability to pass a fitness-for-work medical exam Australian citizenship What On Offer: Job security Competitive hourly rate The chance to grow and develop within a dedicated and dynamic team Summary of role requirements: Looking for candidates available to work:Monday: Morning Tuesday: Morning Wednesday: Morning Thursday: Morning Friday: Morning 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected salary: $55 - $65 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
