Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for our nationally known client for an immediate start within a very large and fast paced manufacturing environment.
About the role: Ensuring that all work is completed to company and industry standards and in a timely manner Coordinate service and repairs to all equipment with leading hand while ensuring that they are appropriately prioritised to minimise the impact on customers operations Required to demonstrate leadership and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment Ensuring on the job conduct, task and environment complies with set WHS, EEO standards and respective legislation Working in accordance with Qantas Group safety management system; Supporting & promulgating any local safety issues/initiatives and be pro-active in identifying safety hazards/controls Ensuring housekeeping of service vehicles, work areas and workshop are maintained including tooling and part inventories Maintaining the cleanliness of the designated areas About You: Trade Qualifications are essential (heavy steam preferred) Previous maintenance fitting experience Proven experience in a similar role Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience Flexibility in availability Heavy Vehicle Plant Mechanic experience Familiarity with airport ground service equipment A Forklift license (highly desirable) Ability to work in a team and autonomously Mechanically minded, reliable, safety conscious and positive attitude If you believe you are the right person for this position, please click apply now and submit an updated resume.
