To support our growth plans, we are looking for passionate, experienced, and capable Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Fitter (Diesel) to make a valuable contribution to KOR's continued success.
Role Overview: KOR is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Heavy Vehicle equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment, contributing to the success of our operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs and machinery overhauls on a variety of equipment. Maintain detailed service records and documentation. Collaborate with the service team to improve service processes and efficiency. Expand and maintain customer relationships. On-call, field service and interstate work may be required from time to time. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Successful candidates will have: Proven experience as a Service Technician, Mechanic, Maintenance Fitter or roles similar in the equipment industry. A Certificate III in a related trade discipline, encouraged to apply; Prior experience in breakdown and diagnostic repairs; Prior experience in High Pressure water and vacuum pumps (advantageous). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
