Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics/ Heavy Trailer Mechanics

Fortuna Straightline Engineering is a well established heavy vehicle mechanical workshop, with over 40 years transport & heavy vehicle mechanical experience between our team. We are currently seeking heavy vehicle mechanics and Trailer Mechanics to join our workshop team, based in Coopers Plains.
What we do:
- Rebushing Trucks & Trailers
- Servicing and general maintenance of all heavy vehicles including prime movers, light to heavy trucks & trailers
- Diagnostic procedures
- Engine repairs
- Steering components 
- Suspension components
- Electrical Repairs 
The favourable applicant will posses the following attributes and skills:  Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic/ Trailer Mechanic/Trade Assistant  Trade Certificate for Heavy Diesel Mechanical or Trailer Mechanic (Preferred but not essential)Experience in General Repairs & Servicing on Prime movers Experience working on prime movers, heavy vehicle trailers & Light VehiclesHands-on approachExcellent work ethic & communication skillsAbility to work autonomouslyThrive in a team environmentCurrent Truck License (preferred, but not essential)Current Drivers License (preferred, but not essential)This position requires the successful applicant to work on a large variety of new and old vehicles, including fleet trucks and trailers.
