Ravenswood Gold has a position for a trade qualified boilermaker with experience in dump truck tray re-lining and repairs, excavator bucket, stick and boom structural repairs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDEExamine excavator buckets and truck bodies daily for work scope on planned down days.General high-level boilermaker with experience in the heavy earthmoving industry.Carry out inspections, refurbishment & repair on all heavy earthmoving equipment.Record accurate measurements using precision measuring instruments and plan equipment in for future repair.Set up and operate welding equipment.Work in a safe manner as an individual and as a team member of the heavy mobile equipment team.Ability to carry out diesel fitting role from time to time on HME shut down work.ABOUT YOUHave good verbal/written communication skills.Self-starting and self-managing with strong decision-making skills.Experience with Integrated systems and Microsoft Office applications, or similar is a benefit.Recognised experience with heavy mobile equipment working on a mine site.Proven skills in diagnosis/problem solving, innovation, project implementation and tracking.Relevant Trade Qualification Boilermaker.Must live within a 200km radius of mine site.Experience in positional/structural welding.Experience in pre and post heating and repairs.Have strong welding experience with large excavator buckets and rigid truck bodies (GMAW & FCAW).WHAT WE OFFERAn opportunity to work within an established reputable mining organisation, with a long-term future, and to be part of its growth and development.Permanent position with a competitive remuneration package.DIDO on an (8:6) day shift and (7:7) night shift roster.Support from a maintenance team with extensive industry and site knowledge and experience.Camp and Meals provided.Applications should include the following documentation in PDF format:• A covering letter describing your capabilities and experience relative to the responsibilities and requirements of the role.All applicants will be subject to a current Police check and Pre-Employment Medical.Ravenswood Gold acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Country on which we walk, live and work.
