Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Road Trains of Australia (RTA) prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of 90+ prime movers.RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join the business on a full-time basis.As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:Repairs, servicing checks, and service of Heavy-Duty Road trucksMaintain completed work records to an acceptable standardComply with all relevant legislation, regulations, and the company's policies & proceduresThe successful candidate will have:Trade qualifications as a Heavy Duty Diesel MechanicA valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessmentProvide rights to work in AustraliaGreat attention to detail, taking pride in your workNational Police ClearanceJob Type: Full-timePay: $38.00 – $50.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplementary Pay:Overtime payExperience:Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)Licence/Certification:MC Licence (Preferred)Work Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
