Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for qualified Heavy Duty Cleaners for an immediate position located within the Beacon Hill area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.
Competitive Wage Rate of $19.70 per hour to start. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and will be from 6:30am to 2:30pm. Paid VacationPaid Sick DaysThis position will require an enhanced level of Government Security Screening. You will be required to have a 10 year living history within Canada and no significant time gaps to qualify for the position.Main Responsibilities: Must be knowledgeable in floor scrubbing and burnishing of floorsClean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floor surfaces in assigned areas by use of mechanized cleaning equipment wherever requiredCollect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basisOperate carpet machines of various typesSpot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors, and window sillsWipe and sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture, and door handlesCleaning of washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, restocking of supplies as neededFollow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environmentOther duties and responsibilities as requiredSTART DATE: 10/26/2023
