Qualifications & experience Previous experience as a Truck MechanicAppropriate and certified trade certificationExperience with Japanese trucks (advantageous)A background in diesel mechanicsAn HR Licence (not essential)Quick thinker with strong problem-solving skillsGood time management, organisation, and collaboration capabilityHigh degree of integrityUnderstanding of health and safety regulationsAbility to build rapport with clientsStrong customer service skillsAbility to mentor and coachTasks & responsibilities Inspect and repair vehicles with diesel enginesSafe use of electricity, machinery, and hand toolsCompliance with all rules and standards of the motor vehicle repair shopHandle routine repairs, including oil and tire changesInterpret diagnostic test results accuratelyWrite detailed inspection reports and repair plansTrain and mentor trainees and apprenticesCollaborate with other diesel mechanicsSubmit reports and plans for approval to customersAdvise on repair options and costs to customersAdhere to health and safety regulationsBenefits Development and job promotion opportunityExceptional pay, $38/hr - $45/hr, with regular hoursJob securityState of the art workshop facilityWork-life balanceRelocation assistanceApply Below#J-18808-Ljbffr
