CTS People, is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our client's team and work with one of the top ISUZU dealerships in Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking for a long-term career in the automotive industry.
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic for ISUZU, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, and trailers. You will work with a team of experienced mechanics and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and tools to perform your duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles according to manufacturer's specificationsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipmentPerform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and other major repairs as neededEnsure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet client deadlinesKeep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performedCommunicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates and recommendationsAdhere to workplace health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalentMinimum of 3 years' experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with Isuzu trucksExperience working with ISUZU vehicles is highly desirableStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and time-management skillsValid driver's license
