Your key responsibilities will include:Servicing and repairing trucks, utes, CAT graders and loaders, John Deere tractors, smaller tractors, bulldozers, JCB telehandlers, and other machineryConducting basic servicing, diagnostics, and advanced mechanical repairsDeveloping and managing a comprehensive maintenance schedule to minimise equipment downtimeCoordinating maintenance activities with farm managementWorking independently to identify and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring efficient farm operationsLiaising with local dealerships for advanced servicing requirementsMaintaining a clean, organised workshop and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good conditionAbout You:We are looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic who meets the following criteria:Qualifications: Certified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with relevant experienceProblem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomouslyCommunication: Excellent communication and organisational skillsValues Alignment: A commitment to quality, sustainability, and employee well-beingSelf-Motivation: A proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasksTeam Environment: Desire to work in a small, professional team and contribute positively to farm operationsAbout the Farm:This large, family-owned farming operation provides a unique opportunity to live and work on-site in a supportive, growth-oriented rural setting.
