This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

How to apply To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible. Current nursing registration (as well preferably as a midwife) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Appropriate qualifications in management from Post Graduate to tertiary (Masters level) or working towards same.Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.Proven ability to function effectively as part of a senior management team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.Broad clinical experience and operational management expertise at a senior level within a health care environment, including strategic planning, the development, implementation & evaluation of organisational Strategic & Business Plans and Project Management.Ability to identify, evaluate and incorporate emerging trends within the profession of nursing to contribute to strategic planning.Evidence of successful achievement in financial management & the ability to develop financial efficiency strategies and achieve goals.Demonstrated understanding of the role, function & funding of public hospital within the Australian and NSW Health Systems.Need more information?
