Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at NSW Health Awards.
A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS. What you'll be doingProviding a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors, and assisting clinical staff in the care and comfort of patients.
Key Responsibilities:Must hold a current Class 1A Security Licence with the NSW Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED), current Senior First Aid Certificate and current valid drivers licence. MNCLHD Master Licence .Demonstrated skills to manage aggressive incidents and/or challenging behaviours and respond to duress situations.Demonstrated flexibility in taking directions from supervisors and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.Ability to communicate effectively, with all levels of staff, as well as patients/clients and members of the public.Demonstrated understanding and ability to comply with environmental cleaning and knowledge of work health and safety principles, including safe manual handling and infection control.Participation in a 7 day rotating roster that includes weekends, public and school holidays, including morning, afternoon and night shifts.Understanding and willingness to work in a morgue environment.Need more information?1) Click here for the Position Description2) Find out more about applying for this position.For role related queries or questions contact Haley Perkins on .
