Melba won the 2023 National Disability Award for Excellence in Service Quality.About the Role:The Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Partner is responsible for the provision of timely specialist advice and support to managers and staff across a broad range of Health, Safety and Wellbeing issues. This role will provide an opportunity to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to make a difference to Health and Safety across Melba. You will be integral in developing and implementing policies, procedures, systems, and improvement projects. Working with our injury management and specialist manual handling ergonomist, you will be providing practical subject matter advice, conducting risk assessments, and coaching our managers around HSW investigations and inspections. You will be a touchpoint working closely with our HSRs and safety committees to build a culture of consultation at Melba around health, safety, and wellbeing improvements. You will be working with our teams around emergency management and business continuity planning to continually improve our capability and response.Does this sound like you? Do you have a qualification in health and safety, or relevant experience? Do you have experience in managing psychosocial risks? Do you have great interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills? Do you work well collaboratively with a range of people from different backgrounds? Do you have solid computer skills using Microsoft packages? Do you like working on a variety of projects and initiatives? Do you have a passion for safety improvements? Are you open to travel across Victoria?
