Follow the link to find out what its like to live, work and play in our wonderful region: Greater Shepparton: Great Things Happen Here About the role: Ensure the health and safety of a workforce committed to supporting the community Ongoing full-time position 5 weeks annual leave and a monthly ADO Reporting to the Director Health, Safety & Wellbeing, the Health Safety & Wellbeing Consultant works in a team responsible for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Emergency Management, workers compensation and return to work.
In this role you will partner with and play an expert advisory role to managers and staff on workforce safety matters across portfolios that include: chemical management; occupational violence and aggression; manual handling; early intervention; and workforce wellbeing.
The role also supports injured workers and return to work.
To be considered for this role you will: Have sound working knowledge of OHS and workers compensation legislation Be experienced in conducting incident investigations and risk assessments, as well as supporting the implementation of control measures Be passionate and proactive in delivering outcomes to support employees to go home safely every day Position Description: HERE If qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
