Project: Prospect Pre-Treatment Plant, a vital infrastructure project aimed at safeguarding Sydney's water supply.
The facility will ensure that residents across the city continue to receive safe, secure, and reliable drinking water, especially during periods of compromised water quality caused by storms, droughts, or bushfires.
Role: As the Health & Safety Manager, you will report directly to the Project Director and coordinate the implementation of the Safety and H&S Management System throughout the projects. This role will be instrumental in the delivery of a major Waste Water Treatment Plant project. Based in our Parramatta office with site responsibilities at Prospect, NSW, this position is ideal for candidates with robust construction experience.
Key accountabilities for the position: Provide strategic direction and required reports for HSEQ across the projectCoordinate and undertake regular audits and inspections covering management systems, safe work procedures, behavioral safety and preventative measuresUndertake thorough risk assessments of and assess all tasks and activitiesProvide timely and expert Safety, Quality and Environmental advice and assistanceTake a lead role in the review and continuous improvement of our safety documentationSkills & Experience: Tertiary level or equivalent qualifications in WH&S management7 - 10 years operational experience in the application of safety management principlesLead Auditor qualifications in WH&S management systemsWorking knowledge of HS&E and Work Cover requirements and implementationDemonstrated ability to work effectively with othersKnowledge of process auditing principles and practicesIf you feel like you meet some or all of the above - Apply Now!
