Health, Safety, Environment & Training Coordinator - FIFO SAJoin the Exact team and work on long-term civil, mining & road construction projects in South Australia.
27th June, 2024 We are searching for experienced Health, Safety, Environment & Training Coordinators to join our team and be a part of our long-term civil, mining & road construction projects in South Australia.

This role will report to the Project Manager and National Safety, Training & Quality Manager.

This role is a hands-on operational role, requiring you to often work in hot dry and dusty remote locations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring compliance with legislated safety and training requirements, and company and client safety and training standards.Actively promoting a Zero Harm environment in line with company vision & core values.Coordinate safety programs to fulfill contractual obligations.Maintain relevant safety registers, including the project training matrix.Conduct inspections & audits ensuring compliance to both company and client systems.Facilitate training and inductions, both paper based and online.Coordination and delivery of toolbox and pre-start meetings.Review & development of risk assessments.Review and development of site-specific safe operating procedures.Providing regular WHS statistical reports to the management teams.Providing coaching, mentoring and technical guidance.Ensure Records are maintained and compliant in line with WHS legislation. 27th June, 2024 We are searching for experienced Health, Safety, Environment & Training Coordinators to join our team and be a part of our long-term civil, mining & road construction projects in South Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring compliance with legislated safety and training requirements, and company and client safety and training standards.Actively promoting a Zero Harm environment in line with company vision & core values.Coordinate safety programs to fulfill contractual obligations.Maintain relevant safety registers, including the project training matrix.Conduct inspections & audits ensuring compliance to both company and client systems.Facilitate training and inductions, both paper based and online.Coordination and delivery of toolbox and pre-start meetings.Accident/Incident Investigation & Reporting.Review & development of risk assessments.Review and development of site-specific safe operating procedures.Providing regular WHS statistical reports to the management teams.Providing coaching, mentoring and technical guidance.Ensure Records are maintained and compliant in line with WHS legislation.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Relevant WHS Qualifications (Minimum Cert IV)Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE116 preferred)Strong understanding of mine site & legislative WHS requirementsConstruction and civil industry experience in a similar positionExperience developing safety programsExcellent verbal & non-verbal Communication Skills and work well within a team environmentPRE-EMPLOYMENT:
All candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance, pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen. Successful applicants must be fit to work in remote locations in extreme conditions for extended periods.
