We employ more than 1,700 people across a broad range of disciplines who operate more than $14 billion worth of infrastructure to deliver essential water and sewerage services to more than 1.8 million South Australians.As the Health & Safety Business Partner – Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing health and safety strategies and managing projects across key business units.
Your focus will be on embedding risk management processes into day-to-day operations, with a strong emphasis on preventing life-changing incidents.
You will lead on developing an assistance framework for internal auditing, helping to establish a robust process for monitoring safety performance.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, reporting, and analysing safety metrics to provide leadership with valuable insights into performance and trends, driving continuous improvement across the organisation.Responsibilities include:Lead internal auditing through the development of an assurance framework and report on safety metrics to track and improve performance.Establish and maintain strong business partnering relationships to drive safety initiatives and ensure practical, supported H&S standards.Investigate incidents, identify high-risk processes, and support the implementation of effective safety controls.Lead and improve Monthly H&S reporting for SA Water executive team and board.Develop project plans for health and safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with business unit objectives, timelines, and budgets.Track and report on project progress, using data analysis to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and make informed decisions.Minimum Requirements:Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience.Management system audit training and experience.More than 3 years experience in WHS risk management in a complex multi-faceted environment.Strong interpersonal skills and business partnering/influencing skills.To apply, click 'Apply'.
