The role will primarily support our Ecology and Heritage Division, ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing providing crucial support to our employees in the field as well as in the office.We offer flexibility that works for you and hybrid working options that mean this role could be based at any of the following locations: Brisbane, Newcastle or Sydney.Here's what you can expect in your new role with EMM:Your role is to influence, educate and mentor our people. You'll support leaders to manage HSW risk and to build their HSW knowledge and capability, all the while role modelling a safety-first culture.You will work closely with the HSW team and your aligned Division, to evolve EMM's HSW Culture by championing best practice health, safety and wellbeing advice.Your knowledge and influence will allow you to embed yourself into projects, ensuring you are providing the right advice, at the right time, to the right people.You are a safety-first partner who understands WHS legislation, using it to educate and empower others, helping EMM to nurture a positive safety culture.Your passion for all things HSW will allow you to innovate and find solutions to emerging issues as we continue to grow and evolve.The support you need to deliver exceptional quality with specialist teams across EMM and leaders who are truly present and excited to help you deliver.Development in many ways; whether you learn best through structured development programs, mentoring or on the job with industry leaders, you'll have the support you need to grow.Satisfaction from inspiring and supporting other EMMers on their development journey.The autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your life.With offices across Australia; you'll be able to flex and enjoy hybrid working at its best.Here's what you'll bring to have impact:A strong knowledge of both physical and mental health and safety.Experience in HSW audits, risk assessment, training and inductions, hazard perception and ergonomics.Previous experience providing HSW support in the mining or renewables sector.Strong communication skills which will allow you to influence, guide and mentor business leaders.You'll have previous experience working within the consulting industry, ideally an environmental consultancy.Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS are highly desirable.An ability and willingness to visit national sites when required, as well as other EMM offices.Respect – you listen and understand other's views and work together to create opportunities for all.Integrity - you do what is right for your stakeholders to deliver what is true as opposed to popular.Humility - you understand the strength of humility and that no one is bigger than the team.We look forward to hearing from you!
