DESCRIPTIONIf you are an undergraduate Science or Health student looking to jump start your career, we are offering a 13-month full-time or part-time internship based at either our Scoresby, Brisbane, or Perth office. This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full-time, commencing 28th January 2025. In this role, you will provide technical support on health, safety, and environmental matters to production and site personnel under the guidance of the HSE leaders. You will assist in the review and sustainability of Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.RESPONSIBILITIESAbout You: To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:Are currently studying a Bachelor degree in applied sciences or similar (for example but not exclusively, Applied Science Occupational Health and Safety, Health Sciences, Ergonomics, Human Factors or other related disciplines, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering).Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025.Are available for the full 13 months and are willing to defer your studies for that duration.Note: Applicants that do not meet these qualifying requirements unfortunately will not be considered.To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:Gather and examine evidence relating to HSE incidents by participating in investigations in order to define the root cause of the event.Risk Assessment - Identify and evaluate hazards within the work environment.Demonstrate self-awareness.Collaborate - Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Action Oriented - Take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.This is a 13-month, full-time or part-time, paid placement, and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.How to apply:For all applications, please submit your resume, cover letter, and academic transcript via the link provided.
