This position will be responsible for the management and oversight of the operations of Workout Wagga Gym and providing health and wellbeing offerings to patrons across Council's fitness and leisure facilities.

We offer: Permanent full time, thirty-eight (38) hours per week.
Commencing salary of $2,855.80 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,426.96 gross per fortnight plus superannuation (11.5%).

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Researching and delivering of a wide range of appropriate fitness activities and programs to customers across Council's leisure facilities including Oasis Regional Aquatics Centre, Jim Elphick Tennis Centre, Workout Wagga Gym, Bolton Park Stadium and the Multi-Purpose Stadium.
Managing instructors and program providers to ensure compliance, appropriate training and alignment with industry best practices and excellence in customer service.
Providing advice and assistance to the Programs Team Leader in matters relating to the improvement of group fitness classes and tailored programs.
Assisting new and current members on their health and fitness journey by engaging with members, seeking feedback, conducting fitness assessments, and creating personal exercise programs.
Conducting and rostering staff to individual and group training sessions in line with leisure facility programs, schedules, and timetables.
Contributing to social media content i.e., videos, posts, photos etc.
for all fitness related programming.
What you will need to succeed: We are looking for someone with the following: Certificate III or IV in Fitness.
Qualifications in Yoga, Pilates, and/or Aqua Aerobics.
Current CPR Accreditation.
Current First Aid Certificate.
AusREPS Registration (Registered Exercise Professional).
Class C Driver's Licence.
Substantial experience in gym operations and management, program development, maintenance schedules, audits and reporting and effectively leading a team.
NSW Working With Children Check Clearance.
