Our programs are designed to help our customers feel supported, informed and understood as an active participant in decisions around their health and wellbeing. We are currently recruiting Customer Coaches with current Dietitian experience to join our growing team of health professionals. Opportunity snapshot The Customer Coach provides a key customer engagement experience which supports Bupa's business and service delivery goals through the position of Health Coaching Services. Underpinned by behavioural change methodology, the Customer Coach is responsible for delivering a telephone based, person-centred coaching program, The COACH program, focusing on Cardiac disease prevention. The primary focus is to motivate and inform a customer regarding their health and wellbeing choices in order to become a more active and engaged participant in the management of their own health. As a Customer Coach you will support our customers with the knowledge and tools needed to take care of their health, help navigate the complexities of the health care system, and empower them to take action to achieve health goals and sustained behaviour change for improved health and wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates to get started in their professional careers or for experienced Dieticians looking to transition into the corporate health service space. Responsibilities Assist customers in developing action plans to address opportunities for health improvement that are valuable to the customerAssess health status and provide person centered coaching and support to help customers self manage their condition/risk factors and achieve their health goalsConnect customers to programs or services that are right for them via outbound and inbound channelsGuide customers to build on their knowledge, skills and confidence to support self-management of their health goalsManage individual caseload of customers scheduling and managing all coaching interventions in line with program guidelinesAchieve individual productivity and call quality measures including new customer enrolment targets, caseload management and program completion targetsOpportunities to participate in various continuous improvement projects to enhance customer experienceWhat's in it for me? About you To be successful in this role you will require: A degree and Clinical qualifications in Dietetics. Eligible for membership of Dietitians Association of Australia Open to both new graduates and experienced health professionalsGeneral acute and/or community health Dietitian experience ideal however not essentialA friendly and confident telephone manner, with experience providing clinical care and advice over the phone (Desirable)Experience in Health Coaching is highly desired however not essentialProficient and confident in windows-based computer software and ability to work simultaneously and efficiently with telephone-based dutiesStrong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to educate and motivate individualsWhat is it like to work there?
