We are currently assisting different clients in WA with the recruitment of great safety professionals for their HSEQ teams! These roles are Perth-based, with travel to different projects across the Perth metro area, and others with ad hoc travel to different regional sites.
What's in it for you: Full-time permanent salaried positions,Organisations with ongoing long-term projects in their pipeline,Knowledgeable and supportive leadership teams to help you succeed,Companies which value and place a strong importance on safety,Diverse range of sites and projects across WA - including opportunity for regional/remote travel,Room for professional growth and career development,Competitive and industry standard remuneration packages.Your Duties: Provide hands-on training and coaching to the trades and labour workforce whilst supporting growth of HSEQ ownership across the business.Build rapport and engage with the various trades to guide and assist them in making all HSE information easily understandable and fit for purpose.Design, develop and manage Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and companywide development of SWMS and JSA documents.Report and present information to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.Keep updated with industry safety trends and standards, and make recommendations for continuous improvements.Develop and implement safety procedures and HSE management plans to minimise the risk of accidents in the workplace.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, and make recommendations to prevent similar occurrences in the future.Facilitate inductions, toolbox talks and safety meetings.Your background: Cert IV WHS or similar industry qualifications.ICAM Lead Investigator would be desirable, not essential.Cert IV Training and Assessment would also be highly regarded.Frontline engagement exposure with a mid-sized trades and labour workforce.Sounds like you?
