Capstone are proud to be working with a leading Asset Owner & EPC contractor, that is both developing and delivering innovative and strategically located solar farms across regional Australia. The company brings together industry leaders with a strong track record in the development and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects. This position entails overseeing two pivotal solar farm projects in Queensland, with a short-term commitment to finalise one project followed by continuous involvement in the next project which is set to commence construction in the near future. Responsibilities include: Support the HSE Manager reviewing and updating Safety procedures. On boarding of new personnel, Inductions for plant and equipment to site. Requesting and organizing onboarding documentation from subcontractors on a cloud-based software or similar platform and ensuring it complies with the requirements stablished in the HSE Management Plan for the project. Ensuring licenses and tickets for high-risk activities are up to date for subcontractor's workers. Analysing with the construction team the planned activities for the following day and preparing Pre-Start documentation to distribute to subcontractors Daily. Generating high risk work permits as required for the construction activities on site and updating registers accordingly. Conduct SWMS, vehicles, equipment, and compound inspections on the subcontractors. Review and investigate incidents on site and proposed corrective actions. Roles Essential Requirements: Hold a a cert 4 in WHS. (MUST) Have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a HSE Advisor in the construction sector. (Ideally renewables or major infrastructure projects.) Able to oversee all of the subcontractors on site. Able to work to roster requirement's.
