About the role
If Health and Safety is important to you, this is a great learning opportunity to support our Work Health & Safety (WHS) strategy and our team located in Homebush West.
In this role, you will work with the business, towards a health and safety vision of continually striving to learn, improve and positively influence the physical and psychological health and safety of our people and communities that we serve around the world.
You will also: Play a key role in the implementation and administration of a new Health and Safety Software platformAdminister the incident and hazard management functionSupport operational activities including H&S committee meeting preparation, compilation of papers and presentations and ad-hoc administrative dutiesCollate and compile both scheduled and ad-hoc Health and Safety reportingUpdate and maintain the H&S policies, procedures, resources and tools as requiredSupport communication of the H&S Management System across the organisation including maintaining the Health and Safety intranet pageEngage with the global Health & Safety teamAct as a role model by demonstrating safe work behavioursAbout you
This role is suitable for someone earlier in their Health and Safety career or has an interest in the field and willing to undertake studies and prepared to jump in and support a wide range of administration and team tasks.
You will have: An interest in Health & SafetyKnowledge or willingness to take on study to learn the principles of health and safety risk managementThe ability to communicate effectively in all forms across all stakeholder groups.The ability to prioritiseStudying towards, or a qualification in, Health and Safety or related disciplines such as a health or behavioural science, or the equivalent level of knowledge gained from a combination of experience, training, professional accreditation, and qualifications is desirableWhat's in it for you
