Position Description Position Title: Health and Fitness Instructor
Employment Terms: Permanent Part Time (25 hours per week)
Working Pattern: 5:45am - 10:45am - 5 days per week
Total Remuneration: $42,214*
Total remuneration includes superannuation, as detailed below Base Salary: $36,549
Superannuation: Employer contribution of 15.50%
Annual Leave: Employees are entitled to 4 weeks (pro-rata for part-time employees) annual leave per year, plus leave loading.
Personal Leave: Employees are entitled to two weeks (pro-rata for part-time employees) personal leave per year.
Paid Parental Leave: Employees are entitled to fourteen weeks paid (or twenty-eight weeks at half-pay) parental/adoption leave for the primary carer; two weeks paid leave for the secondary carer.
Long Service Leave: Long service leave applies after 7 years continuous service.
Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to drive forward excellence in customer service delivery by consistently utilizing the training protocols and procedures to ensure clients are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities: Completion of new member inductions Writing of personalized programs Delivery of gym floor supervision Technique and gym etiquette instruction Equipment safety monitoring and reporting Following duty schedules as per the Gym roster Minimum Requirements: Minimum Certificate III in Fitness Group Fitness Qualification (desirable) First Aid certificate including CPR Current registration to Working with Vulnerable People in Tasmania, or ability to obtain Working with Vulnerable People Check: Yes
