We pride ourselves on providing gold standards of care and our trained nurses are valued as an integral part of the team.We relocated a few years ago into a purpose built three consult room clinic. We boast a large treatment area, separate dog and cat wards, theatre and imaging rooms, and all the monitoring toys a nurse could dream of.Our team love our location, with multiple eateries and shops right outside our front door!The responsibilities of this position will include:Full-time role managing a team of Vet Nurses and supporting busy VetsGuiding and developing the Nurse team, building a positive team cultureUndertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical careTaking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiencyCollaborating with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient careHandling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phoneManaging stock inventory to enable high quality of patient careOrganizing maintenance and repairs of equipment in conjunction with the practice managerWe are looking for a person who is proudly professional and passionate about nursing, maintaining clinical standards, driving improvement, fear free/stress free handling and making sure that every animal who crosses our doorstep gets the best possible standard of care!Minimum Requirements:Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2+ years of experienceExperience coaching and mentoring Vet NursesPossesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamA calm and friendly presenceGreat communication and customer service skillsFlexible and adaptable within a team environmentKnowledge of RX Works ideal but not essentialNo day will be the same, but you will always have a supportive team around you and fantastic clients and pets walking through the door.
