As the Technology Domain Owner RAMS, you'll lead end-to-end service management, change delivery, tech risk management, and tech financials for the RAMS business. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders across Mortgages LOB and Group Tech to drive and implement our technology strategy, setting a clear vision and effectively communicating it to key stakeholders and the rest of the business.Key accountabilities include:Business Engagement:• Partner with the RAMS Business and RAMS Managing Director to develop and deliver priorities, while maintaining system stability.• Contribute to business strategy and develop a technology service roadmap to enhance customer experience and achieve business objectives.• Work with RAMS business to ensure compliance with technology policies.Strategy and Planning:• Partner with senior stakeholders across Mortgages LOB and Group Tech to drive and implement the Technology strategy.• Set a clear vision and strategy, and communicate effectively to key stakeholders.• Ensure that architectural principles and roadmap for RAMS are maintained through all planning and change activities.Risk Management:• Actively manage the technology risk profile, ensuring activities stay within risk appetite and resolving issues, risks, and incidents.• Identify technology service risks, document them in business risk maps, and develop cost-effective mitigation solutions.• Work with Risk to implement best practice risk management.• Ensure a technology ecosystem that meets WBG security policies and regulatory requirements.Service Management:• Partner with Suppliers to ensure systems stability, proactive lifecycle management, and transparent reporting for technology in the RAMS ecosystem.• Drive continuous improvement with change delivery and Service Management teams.• Ensure IT services comply with disclosure documentation, contracts, and Westpac policies.Execution & Change Delivery:• Structure, plan, and execute major project activities, ensuring efficient and quality execution, on-budget/schedule delivery, and full realization of expected benefits.• Support the Head of Technology, Mortgages to actively manage demand to ensure it's appropriately prioritized, funded, resourced, and aligned with the LOB and GroupTech strategy.• Manage cross-squad and village dependencies, focusing on driving collaboration.• Actively manage supplier/3rd party partners and vendors, ensuring they work to agreed contracts and SLAs.People and Leadership:• Build a highly engaged workforce by modeling Westpac's leadership standards.• Develop strategic workforce plans and enhance village capability.• Promote Westpac's risk culture through visible presence and business engagement.What do I need?• Superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building.• Proactive, organized, and outcomes-focused.• Strong vendor management skills with the ability to challenge and negotiate with vendors.• Leadership and collaborative teamwork skills.• Strategic and tactical problem-solving abilities.• Commitment to Living the Values.• Strong decision-making and leadership skills.How do I apply?Start here.
