This position is responsible for the direction, implementation and forecasting of our Technology Frameworks and Strategy. This role is integral to Netball Australia working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to assess, conceptualize, analyze, design and implement fit for purpose technology, digital, and data related solutions that underpin and enable the Businesses Digital vision strategies. The successful candidate will also be the custodian of data, associated information, and cyber security champion.We are looking for someone who can:Conceptualise, design, scope and implement the overall technology components of the overall business digital and data strategyProvide strategic leadership in line with Netball Australia strategyContinually strive for secure, seamless solutions with a best practice and industry benchmark focus, with an emphasis on cloud-based technologiesWork collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to develop a sustainable technical framework to support the delivery and requirements of our teams, employees, fans, and the wider Netball environmentManagement of external service providers including agreements in line with Netball Australia procurement processes and policiesManage Vendors including deliverables, expectations and negotiationMonitor and adapt innovative and cost-effective solutions throughout the technical environmentEnsure risk management and compliance is adhered to throughout entire Australian Netball framework for technical and digital functions, including compliance with Cyber Security industry best practiceLead and nurture a responsive, supportive, and high performing culture through the Netball eco-systemBuild and maintain robust working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and reliability for successful delivery of initiatives with a positive adoption throughoutBe accountable and challenge stakeholders with respect and integrity as per the Netball Australia values and trademark behavioursRecommend, define, and implement technical policies and proceduresContinuously develop a best practice methodology throughout technical infrastructureWork with stakeholders to enable technical efficiencies to enhance the user experience across both the technical and digital environmentsContinual assessment of sustainability and scalability across business functionBe a trusted and approachable technical subject matter expertCollaborate closely with Digital working groups within State of the Game framework to design and implement Digital and Data Platforms throughout the whole Australian Netball eco-system with a key focus on efficiencies and innovative solutionsDesired Skills and ExperienceThe successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:Relevant Degree in Information TechnologyAt least 5 years in a similar technical leadership positionDemonstrated Customer Experience (CX) focused mindsetAbility to drive positive change through extensive collaboration and influenceProven experience developing digital and data strategic plans that underpin and enable the business digital vision and transformation, and developing and implementing related technology solutionsStrong strategic focus and collaborative relationship management experienceProven experience in managing timeframes, budgets, and cross functional communicationsInnovative and solutions focusedExperience providing strategic advice at a leadership levelDemonstrated experience managing technical budgets, security, risk, and compliance within a medium sized companyPeople management experience and a strong cultural environment mindset, focusing on teaming, respect, agility, and outstanding customer delivery skills in a fast-paced sport focussed management, service delivery, and support environmentPlease note we will not be progressing candidates to interview stage until the beginning of 2025.On the cusp of our centenary, and significant opportunity leading into the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney, there has never been a more exciting time to join.
