We are searching for a compassionate, forward-thinking leader to guide our mission.ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Head of Teaching and Learning, you won't just oversee learning; you will redefine it.In this hands-on role, you'll collaborate closely with your teams in the classroom, actively supporting and mentoring teachers to ensure effective planning, outstanding content delivery, and most importantly, student engagement. You will play a pivotal leadership role dedicated to nurturing the holistic growth and well-being of our students within a non-traditional educational framework.You will:Inspire and lead innovative, non-traditional educational programs that challenge the status quo and encourage students to pursue their passions.Champion a student-centered, inclusive environment, where every learner feels valued and empowered.Be a mentor and role model for both students and staff, leading by example.Drive excellence by ensuring that QCAA curriculum and assessments are delivered with quality and precision.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBring fresh, forward-thinking approaches to teaching and learning.Lead, develop, and evaluate the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.Oversee, develop, and monitor whole Academy curriculum planning and assessment.Oversee the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process.Model integrity, inclusiveness, and collaboration.Build strong relationships and mentor your team.Lead and manage improvement and innovation strategically.Work closely with the MOB leadership team to ensure department alignment.Provide professional development opportunities for teachers.Quality Assurance:Oversee the integrity of assessments, reporting, and data accuracy.Oversee and manage the MOB QCE and QCIA quality assurance process.Quality assurance of lesson plans and curriculum policies.Uphold policy and processes related to the protection and well-being of children.Lead the development and evaluation of the MOB Education Framework.Promote pedagogical 'risk taking' for best practice outcomes.Operational Excellence:Manage the smooth running of daily operations.Lead Administration personnel on timetable parameters.REQUIREMENTSDegree in Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a secondary education setting.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ideally, experience in boys education.Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in senior boys education.The position is Fulltime - Monday - Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm.
