In this role, you'll be responsible for elevating Lion's mid to long term forecasting capability, informed by consumer, category and customer insights. The role is a strategic business partner to our Sales Directors and will ensure that we capture an accurate view of the rolling 36-month forecast. The role will also lead the development of the planning master data, reporting and technology roadmap (in partnership with the technology team), to create a right fit planning solution for the business.This role is available on a permanent, full-time basis from our Sydney CBD office with the ability to work from home 2 days per week.A day in the lifeLeading and developing the Demand Planning Team.Actively partnering the Sales Directors to develop mid to long term sales forecasts across all channels and customers.Partnering with the Supply Chain Planning Team to ensure customer service levels are consistently achieved.Partnering with the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team to ensure we accurately reflect promotional activity in sales forecasts.Maintaining integrity of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) principles across the business planning cycle.Partnering the Planning Director in the development, implementation and embedding of IBP improvement initiatives.Supporting development of the planning capability approach for the IBP team and business partners.Partnering with the Data and Technology teams in the development and implementation of the planning master data, reporting and technology strategy and roadmap.Facilitating the Demand Review Forum.What we're looking forDemonstrated leadership experience: you will be an agile and inspiring leader and coach who is energised by the achievement of others.A passion for business planning, expertise in forecasting and enabling data and technology, and an ability to facilitate strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment.An ability to navigate through a complex sales environment coupled with an ability to demonstrate decisive commercial thinking.A strategic mindset with an ability to interpret and apply an understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.Confident communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.Deep understanding of demand planning and knowledge of the IBP process and best practice.Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is essential.If you're ready to dive into the world of strategic planning, lead a stellar team, and quench thirsts with our exceptional beverages, we want to hear from you!
