As part of the broader Technology team, Store Team Platforms partner with the business to deliver quality technology solutions to make it easy for store team members to be customer obsessed.
Our platforms include over 100 tools and applications used by store team members daily ranging from critical applications to multiple instore devices including smartphones, iPads and back-office PCs used across 100,000+ Supermarkets Team members and the Store Support Centre.
What you'll be doingYou will lead the evolution of Store Team Member technology and will be accountable for technology strategy, transformation, and operations.
You will have overall accountability for the Store Team Member technology platform's performance, including supporting growth, innovation, and transformation.
You will be required to lead the Transformational Program Delivery inclusive of technology solutions that land change and business benefits including Task Management, Inventory Management, and Digitizing Stocktake process.
You will execute the Store Team Member technology roadmap and deliver complex multi-year programs of work that underpin overall Operations strategy outlined by the Chief Operations Officer.
You will continuously drive simple, consistent, and efficient processes ensuring the customer and stores are at the heart of decisions.
Overseeing the operations, replenishment, automation, business units, and brands in the Supply Chain Replenishment platform to ensure strategy is achieved.
You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of financial management including budgetary cost/benefit planning, monthly financial control, and operational savings.
Your stakeholder management skills are exceptional, and you have the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organisation, including c-suite and board level.
You will be accountable to represent Store Team Member technology with the Coles Executive Leadership team and all General Management across Operations, Program Delivery, and Strategic planning.
You have demonstrated ability in building and motivating a broad diverse team consisting of internal team members and several external partners across multiple global locations including Australia and India.
You will lead the Store Team Member Tech group of more than 50 onsite team and vendor resources.
Key aspects of the role include executive/senior business engagement, sponsoring large scale program delivery, critical application support, team engagement, and people initiatives.
You will ideally have strong technical skills and retail/grocery experience.
