About ACC Southlands Australian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational, Christian Education organisation, whose mission is to develop each and every student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish into their full potential, and be a positive influence on the world around them. ACC Southlands is a growing school community located in the beautiful city of Albany. There are approximately 270 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 on-campus with a further 620 students from Pre-primary to Year 12 in our Distance Education cohort. Although we are growing rapidly, we are focused on sustainably stewarding God's creation and we have a heart that all students will be well known, well loved, and well taught. About the role Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced educational leaders for the position of Head of Secondary.
The Head of Secondary (On-Campus) is responsible for maintaining and developing the positive culture and community of the on-campus secondary school, ensuring students have access to high quality teaching and learning. The Head of Secondary (On-Campus) reports directly to the principal.
This full-time position (with a 0.2 FTE teaching load) is expected to start January 2025 (open to negotiation).
The position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with CEM policy.
