About Client:

For over 30 years, our client has imported, exported, manufactured, and distributed quality Asian food brands across Australia and New Zealand. Their team is 240-strong, working across six branches and three distribution centres around the world, located to best serve customers in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, Newcastle, Cairns, New Zealand, and Hong Kong.

Your new role:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and CEO, you will manage all mainstream business and be accountable for the company's overall profit and performance across Australia, ensuring that the most lucrative accounts are built upon and new business is approached in the most professional and effective manner. With both short and long-term objectives in mind, you will ensure all of the below:

Drive sales by developing strategic direction on a national level to achieve set targets.

Aggressively develop new business with both existing and new accounts in uncharted segments.

Stay on top of all market trends and be aware of competitor products and activities.

Be an exceptional leader and mentor to the established sales team.

What you'll need to succeed:

10+ years of senior management experience in the FMCG food industry.

MUST have major retailer experience (e.g., Coles, Woolworths, and Costco).

Experience in various stakeholder engagement at a corporate level, as well as relating to SMEs.

Exceptional business acumen and leadership skills.
