The Role As the Head of Sales, APAC, you will use the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to mentor and strengthen the APAC sales team, introduce innovations, produce new efficiencies, drive strategy, increase revenue, and support customer success.
You will lead and inspire a team of sales professionals in a competitive global market and collaborate with senior leaders to set revenue targets and coach your team to exceed their goals.
What You Will Do Achieve the annual financial performance targets.
Provide strong sales leadership, vision, and direction.
Support the team by participating and leading all aspects of the sales cycle, from sales planning to lead generation, cultivating prospects, demonstrations, prospect meetings, and engaging corporate resources as required.
Work closely with Account Managers to develop detailed sales plans, scripts, sales tools, targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive leads and opportunities.
Drive all aspects of New Business customer acquisition, including identifying prospects, initial outreach, and deal management.
Mentor and develop the sales team with tactical and strategic sales approaches.
Recruit new talent, onboard, and train new account reps. Conduct weekly pipeline/forecast meetings, coaching the team on sales strategies to drive closure.
Report on all aspects of the APAC Go-To-Market business to senior management.
Work closely with other teams, including customer support, professional services, marketing, and outbound sales development to drive market awareness and build a pipeline to help the sales team achieve revenue targets.
Set team and individual goals, and track performance.
Create, define, and evolve the sales and process 'playbooks' for the team to follow, and ensure that performance targets are achieved.
Analyse StarRez product adoption and provide feedback to the Product Management team.
Work closely with StarRez staff to organise and deliver StarRez related industry conferences and events.
Ensure the APAC sales team is strategically aligned to US/EMEA wherever possible.
Contract negotiations, including renewals.
Act as an internal in-depth product expert for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Required Qualifications 3-5 Years experience leading high performing sales teams.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
Maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure and with time constraints in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Prioritize tasks and set, manage, and meet deadlines.
Detail oriented and organized.
Care immensely for our customers' success.
Hands-on experience and competencies with Salesforce and such technologies, email and referrals to generate new sales opportunities.
