ABOUT AURIGA AVIATIONAuriga Aviation has established itself as an industry leader in the provision of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia.
Auriga Aviation operates a modern fleet of Airbus helicopters in the provision of services to the maritime industry, providing services to a diverse customer base across multiple locations throughout Australia.
ROLE OVERVIEWAs Head of Safety and Quality, you'll join our senior leadership team, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our business.
You will lead the charge in fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring that our commitment to quality underpins every aspect of our operations.

Your ResponsibilitiesLead and Inspire: Champion a culture of safety and quality, fostering collaboration and engagement across all levels of the organisation.Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement forward-thinking strategies to elevate safety and quality standards, supporting our ambitious growth plans.Operational Excellence: Oversee compliance with national and international aviation regulations and standards, driving continuous improvement and innovation.Team Development: Mentor and empower the organisation, ensuring they have the tools, training, and motivation to excel.Collaborative Influence: Work closely with other senior leaders to align safety and quality initiatives with organisational values and goals.About YouWe're looking for a leader who embodies our values of Respect, Reliability, and Resilience.
You'll bring:
A proven track record in aviation safety and quality leadership.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.Deep knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.A strategic mindset paired with hands-on problem-solving abilities.A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and team development.Mandatory Requirements/Qualifications:Meet the requirements to be approved as the organisations nominated Safety Manager and Quality Manager under CASR 1998.A relevant tertiary qualification in aviation, safety, management or related field.Formal qualifications / certification in Safety Investigations.Strong knowledge of CASA regulations they relate to Auriga Aviation's scope of operations.Experience or formal certification in the following standards:BARS OHO Experience / Certification.ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety.WHY JOIN US?In addition to great pay and conditions, working at Auriga Aviation offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to be part of a dynamic, growing organisation where you can make a tangible impact.
