The Role Pembroke is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced educational leader to undertake the permanent, full time role of Head of SACE commencing in January 2025.
The successful candidate will be a key participant in the School's academic leadership team and will contribute to the development of the delivery of teaching and learning initiatives and education policy.
What the role will involve In this role you will: Undertake duties specified and according to the schedule in the Coordinating the SACE section on the SACE Board website.
Oversee all aspects of SACE administration ensuring accurate records and compliance with SACE requirements.
Liaise with the Head of Inclusive Education and relevant staff to manage special provisions and assessment modifications for students with special circumstances, ensuring all SACE requirements are met.
Manage and communicate the Assessment Cycle.
Communicate SACE requirements and updates to staff and manage distribution of materials and SACE forms to staff and students.
Collaborate with staff and students to offer counselling, explore options, and facilitate pathways for SACE completion, including university applications and subject changes.
Be an active participant and engage staff in SACE matters ensuring dissemination of information, discussion and professional development.
Through the Dean of Professional Growth and Development promote and facilitate staff involvement in SACE professional development, workshops and moderation panels.

Able to make a significant leadership contribution to the whole School's academic program.
Able to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively engage and foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
An efficient and effective administrator, working accurately to meet deadlines and manage workflow.
An experienced and qualified classroom teacher registered (or able to be registered) as a teacher in the State of South Australia.
