We're looking for someone with strong risk management experience to lead our risk management function to enhance our organisational resilience and allow us to proactively identify, prepare for and respond to risk and opportunities.If you consider yourself a collaborative leader with an ability to successfully influence desired risk management outcomes, we want to hear from you.
We have big ambitions for this space, so we're looking for drive, passion, and energy to bring our plans to life.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, some of your responsibilities will include:Implementing a strategic and operational Risk Management framework for CA.Leading the systematic continuous improvement of Australian Cricket's Enterprise Risk Management Framework within CA.Leading the delivery of tailored risk management plans for CA with a specific focus on risk identification, assessment and evaluation, and the development and implementation of risk transfer, control and mitigation strategies.Monitoring service provision and quality of services by Insurance brokers and collaborate on mutually beneficial risk projects and activities.Working collaboratively with the Head of Cyber Security, facilitating the Australian Cricket Privacy Council to assist in identification and mitigation of organisation wide privacy risks, and championing the building of a culture of privacy awareness through review of systems and business processes, delivery of education and awareness.Acting as leader and champion of CA's Critical Incident Management Plan.
Leading and supporting the management of any declared critical incidents to a successful conclusion.Ensuring appropriate due diligence is in place across the CA supply chain to facilitate a Modern Slavery risk assessment, drafting the annual Modern Slavery Statement and managing the process to obtain board approval.Working closely with Community Cricket team on risk education programs, publicising the NCRPP to players, clubs and associations.Monitoring the financial sustainability of the NCRPP and work with broker and Community Cricket as necessary to amend participation fees and/or coverage position.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORTertiary qualifications in risk management, insurance or health & safety.Strong Risk Management experience in a multi-stakeholder environment.Strong leadership, collaboration and creative thinking skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders with varying different interests, objectives and perspectives.Proven experience presenting to senior executives and boards.Ability to communicate and influence desired risk management outcomes.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Strong written communication skills, and ability to report on risk management program.Ability to drive culture of continuous improvement.Although not essential, the following experience will be highly regarded:Sports management/administration experience.Risk Management software experience.WHS and general safety management experience.Governance/audit/compliance experience.A general understanding of cricket.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?Our employees at Cricket are gifted an additional week of leave at the end of the season!
