We strive to create an open, balanced, and flexible workplace where people feel that they belong, can be open and honest and are supported.About The RoleThe Head of Relationship Management will be responsible for actively driving business development and profitability across the region, through coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of best practice relationship initiatives amongst Regional Account Managers.In conjunction with the State Manager, the Head of Relationship Management will work towards meeting or exceeding the Region's revenue targets. To support the drive to have Account Managers (i.e., Rural & Senior Rural Managers) spending their time on farm with clients and prospects. Such to further grow and strengthen the relationships at the kitchen table.To act as the Deputy State Manager during absences and as required, including assisting with the development and implementation of the state business plan and/or when the State Manager requires additional support in completing their tasks.This role has a flexible location within NSW with preference for Northern NSW.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Regional and Branch wide plans for prospecting.Develop and maintain a small portfolio of high-net-worth clients across the region.In conjunction with Branch & State Managers, manage the performance of the Account Managers throughout the region relating to business development and sales.In conjunction with Branch & State Managers, lead and motivate an effective and engaged regional team of Account Managers in relation to business development and sales.Develop and retain key relationship staff in collaboration with Branch and State Managers.Proactively engage in the selection and hiring of relationship managers across the branches, in collaboration with Branch and State Managers.Identify with and actively contribute to the identification and implementation of the Country Banking AU business strategy.Contribute as a member of the State leadership team.Have input into the State budget for revenue and balance sheet movements.In conjunction with the State Manager, ensure that the region achieves objectives relating NPS, Client Margins, Asset Growth and Asset Quality.Management oversight for the region in the preparation and implementation of marketing and business plans.Grow number of clients across the state by actively leading and engaging in prospecting.The ideal candidate will have:Senior leadership experience in Rural Banking or similar areaProven Leadership experience, managing and leading a team.Affiliation/thorough understanding of the rural clients, gained through experience.Strong knowledge of the rural industryKnowledge of specialised financial productAbility to drive, motivate, manage, and lead a team, with strong leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor employees.Ability to influence.What we're proud to offer you:Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank and for Australia, which means we have a blend of time working between the office and home.Wellbeing leave.
