Job Description As the Head of Regional Operations, this diverse role will see you responsible for leading a range of work streams including project delivery, process improvement and financial management while leading a team with a focus on safety and exceptional customer engagement.
Operational Project Management - you will oversee a team and lead the day to day execution of the project portfolio.You will analyse project performance metrics across operations including engineering, supply chain, production and customer service.Strategy development and execution - identify and execute operational strategies that align to the business objectives.Financial management - manage the regional operating budget while delivering commercial and cost saving initiatives.Leadership - develop, attract and retain a team of operational staff who will be hands-on in delivering the projects.You will lead a range of process improvement activities and risk management initiatives to ensure that the business is continually able to deliver first class project execution.This role will have some semi-regular local and domestic travel requirements.
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will come from an education pathway such as chemical or mechanical engineering or project management. Your skill set will demonstrate extensive project management experience while also overseeing areas such as production, supply chain, procurement, customer service and engineering.
You will also demonstrate the commercial aptitude in finance to include areas such as managing an operational budget, forecasting and cost control.
You will also be a passionate leader with a people first focus on safety, customer service and performance improvement. Candidates with experience in waste water projects and infrastructure will be at an advantage for this role.
