Job DescriptionAbout the role Reporting to the Director of Industry, the Head of Quality (Industry) role has been created to drive excellence in the leadership and strategic management of industry-based education across our system of schools.
This key role will grow high standards of quality, implement robust improvement systems, and enhance operational procedures across the industry division.
You will also lead industry staff development initiatives to build a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that the industry portion of our program produces quality outcomes for young people.
This position is instrumental in delivering the vision for quality and compliance, driving impactful change, and positioning our organisation as an industry school of distinction.
Working collaboratively as part of the Senior Leadership Team, the key outcomes of this role include:
Quality Management: Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement strategies that ensure consistency and excellence in user experience across industry education programs.Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with relevant governing bodies' regulations, industry standards, and best practices applicable to our operation as both a School and an RTO.Training and Development:Develop and deliver quality improvement, assurance, and compliance standards training that fosters a progressive culture and supports best practices.Risk Management and Mitigation:Assess and mitigate risks related to quality and compliance and implement effective risk management strategies and contingency plans.Industry Engagement and Relationship Building: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and compliance and build strong relationships with external stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.Reporting and Documentation:Quality and compliance performance reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board, as well as quality and compliance recording and documentation.Work Health and Safety:Foster a proactive safety culture by integrating safe work practices into quality assurance and improvement activities and leading WHS and Risk Assessment processes across all industry programs to ensure the safety and well-being of young people, staff, and stakeholders.Our Values – how we show up Our values guide the way and shape our interactions with each other.
