This is a national business operating across multiple manufacturing sites.About the roleAs the Head of Quality, you will spearhead the enhancement of quality management systems across the organisation, ensuring adherence to stringent regulatory standards and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting to the GM People, Safety, and Quality, and leading a team of 4, you will lead strategic initiatives aimed at optimising product quality, operational efficiency, and biosecurity protocols. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our competitive edge in the agricultural industry and supporting our expansion into new markets.Skills & ExperienceStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire change, influence stakeholders and lead initiatives in crisis management and operational efficiency.Experience in quality management within the food or agricultural industry, preferably with exposure to pet food production.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as FSANZ, SQF, HACCP, Feedsafe, and AQIS.Willingness to travel occasionally to operational sites across Australia as needed.Experience in project management and change management related to quality assurance and operational processes.Strategic thinker with a track record of implementing successful quality improvement initiatives.How to applyIf you are an experienced professional in the quality space, we want to hear from you.
