The CompanyThis global integrated food manufacturing business is a titan within their sector of the market. With an exciting and innovative growth strategy around both their existing product range but also expanding their product & customer portfolio, this is a significant part of their continual evolution. Due to an internal promotion, there is an opportunity to join this highly visible senior management position that will work broadly across the executive leadership group as well as leading a large team.The RoleReporting to the COO, this role will lead all technical responsibilities as it continues to develop and implement its quality and product strategy across Australia. This is a key leadership position that will take responsibility for all aspects of quality & sustainability.This includes:Developing and implementing the Quality strategy and plan with a clear focus on food safety and assurance. Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, and all relevant regulatory standards.Building and leading a team of Quality professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring your team remains engaged and motivated.Developing and leading a Customer-Centric quality culture across the business, managing customer audits, implementing sustainable changes, and ensuring successful outcomes.Assessing current quality processes, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing changes to improve product quality, processes, and systems, from suppliers through to customers.Becoming a trusted advisor to the executive team by providing quality support and training to all areas of the business and helping them to identify quality improvement projects.Working closely with the customer to problem solve and implement sustainable changes in quality processes through the supply chain.Your BackgroundTertiary qualified in a relevant field such as Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or similar.Significant quality management experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment leading a team of at least 8+ people across a multi-site remit.Experience working cross-functionally and at all levels of the organisation.Very strong quality management experience, leading all aspects of quality within a manufacturing environment.The successful candidate must have strong stakeholder engagement skills and be able to work collaboratively with internal and external customers.Must have experience in developing capability and building culture within a quality department.What's On OfferIf you have any questions about this exciting opportunity, please contact Ricky Phare at Blackbook Executive on .#J-18808-Ljbffr
