Risk Consulting (Insurance & Superannuation)Full timeLead the planning and delivery of the quality and assurance strategy for the General Insurance & Care function.Location: Kent StreetAbout the RoleAs Head of Quality & Assurance, you will:Design new and review existing 1st line of defence quality assurance strategies, frameworks, and plans for existing and new claims, underwriting and policy management processes.Oversee the 1st line of defence quality assurance activities and programs embedded within functions of icare.Review, adapt, and where required, conceptualise Quality Assurance frameworks in line with changes to business operating for General Insurance and Care.Support General Insurance & Care leader/s to prepare quality assurance related strategic plans, goals and activities.Endorse team activity plans and monitor performance and operational effectiveness.Establish operational work plans and delegate activities to team members.Cascade and champion strategic objectives to team members and contribute to development of enterprise policies.Lead, coach and mentor the Quality Assurance team through change and establish a high performing culture.Collaborate with peers, senior stakeholders and enterprise shared functions to ensure General Insurance and Care processes are compliant, efficient and deliver the best outcomes for those we serve.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 8 years' experience in quality assurance or related fields.5-10 years' experience in leadership or managerial roles demonstrating the ability to manage teams and projects effectively.Demonstrated experience with analysis of complex issues and strategic problem solving.Thinks commercially and systematically with proven ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, working with senior management.Experience within insurance or related industry highly regarded.CultureWe know our strength comes from the diversity of our people and would encourage people with different experiences and backgrounds to apply.
