The Head of Programmatic is a critical leadership role within our total audio business, responsible for driving the development and execution of programmatic advertising across all digital platforms.
This role ensures the seamless integration of programmatic into our broader revenue strategy, maximizing monetisation opportunities, and maintaining our position at the forefront of digital audio innovation.
About The Role: Define and continuously evolve the company's programmatic strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. Communicate programmatic initiatives and performance metrics to senior leadership, providing clear insight into revenue contribution and growth opportunities. Key relationship holder with agency and client programmatic trading teams.
Develop client level strategy for unlocking revenue opportunities within agencies and key clients. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing programmatic team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Work closely with sales, product, data, and operations teams to ensure programmatic is embedded into every aspect of the digital business. Establish and promote programmatic best practices across the organisation, ensuring high standards in areas like targeting, optimisation, and measurement. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of programmatic capabilities into our digital platforms, enhancing both user experience and ad effectiveness. Leverage first-party data, audience insights, and advanced analytics to inform strategic initiatives. About You: 8+ Years of experience in digital advertising, with at least 4 years in a programmatic leadership role. Proven track record of driving revenue growth through programmatic channels. Experience with digital audio, radio or streaming media is advantageous. Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, inspiring and empowering the programmatic team to achieve high levels of performance. Capable of developing long-term strategies that align programmatic with the company's overall growth trajectory. Identifies opportunities in a rapidly changing market and translates them into actionable initiatives. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into strategic recommendations. Experience in developing data-driven approaches to programmatic buying and optimization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate programmatic strategies and performance metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
