About The Role As a Head of Product, you will set the strategy for, and manage one of Sportsbet's key Product portfolios to ensure Sportsbet's ongoing success as a leader in the digital landscape. This role involves leadership of a fantastic team of Product Managers and a broad Product Portfolio, and sits on the Product Leadership scope of impact in this Head of Product role is substantial, as a key member of our Product Leadership Team you will not only contribute to day-to-day operations but also actively work "on the business" shaping all aspects of our strategic direction as a functional group. Reporting into the GM of Product, you'll provide input into the overall Product strategy and drive alignment across the business through senior stakeholder management. You'll have the opportunity to shape not only what we deliver for customers, but also how we operate, to be as effective as possible in our pursuit of creating brilliant customer experiences. Responsibilities Include: Lead and develop a team of talented product managers Drive portfolio thought leadership through expert understanding of category landscape, including consumer needs, portfolio strengths and weaknesses, competitor positioning, regulatory constraints and technology opportunities. Define Product portfolio strategy, aligned to Sportsbet strategy. Establish quarterly focus areas with supporting roadmap to deliver portfolio strategy. Identify and validate new product related opportunities, working closely with the Design and Technology functions to execute. Track, measure and be accountable for setting and achieving Product OKRs Proactively analyse and report on business performance and product issues Work with customer facing and commercial teams to identify optimisation opportunities and improve product performance Monitor competitor and market activity and continuously assess strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for the portfolio Key requirements: Experience in fast paced/high change and/or growth organisation 5 - 7 years in consumer facing online business including 5+ in product management Experience operating in and leading cross functional teams incl. product management, marketing, customer acquisitions and retention and finance. Demonstrable project management experience – ability to lead multiple time sensitive projects.
