Our ideal candidate will foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that is focused on growth and development.What you will do:Reporting directly to the People, Procurement & Supply Chain Director, the Head of Procurement is critical in supporting the business to achieve its short- and long-term goals.
This role will be responsible for building and executing a sustainable sourcing strategy for the B&J business.
Responsibilities include:Ensuring compliance with B&J Health and Safety policies and procedures and supporting the B&J safety culture journey.Partnering with production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure the right materials are available for customer delivery and new product development.Developing and executing the sustainable sourcing strategy to meet the business's goals while managing supply risks and costs.Sourcing and procuring goods and services, providing competitive procurement options, and supporting new initiatives for cost-effective outcomes.Ensuring procurement activities meet and exceed customer demands.Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, including cost savings projects.Reporting and updating procurement metrics and performance to the organization.What you need to succeed:Experience in purchasing in a manufacturing or commercial environment.Proven experience negotiating pricing, delivery timeframes, and purchasing needs.A fast-paced work environment is preferred.Experience in M3, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven expertise in purchasing and inventory management.Experience in strategic sourcing across multiple categories.What to expect from us:Join our team of passionate food enthusiasts and experience true satisfaction in the quality of work you do.
