This pivotal role will support Principal Leaders in their development as instructional, faith, community, and business leaders, and will support our schools to continue delivering exceptional faith development, learning growth, and wellbeing outcomes for students.The Head of Performance is accountable for school performance across CSPD Primary and Secondary schools, collaborating closely with Principal Leaders to ensure alignment with school improvement plans and CSPD's organisational strategy. Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Quality & Performance, this role will foster meaningful relationships between schools, networks, and CSPD support teams to enhance student outcomes.Responsibilities:Foster a supportive, inclusive and collaborative culture within the Performance team with Principals.Work with system leaders to transform CSPD Support Teams services, ensuring the delivery of these services is integrated and collaborative by design.Support and challenge school leaders to provide instructional leadership that enhances teaching and learning with a strong focus on Catholic identity and social teaching principles.Collaborate with Principal Leaders to co-design School Improvement Plans that align with the CSPD strategic plan while adapting to local contexts.Build high-performing Principal Leaders through tailored support, guidance on improvement strategies, and access to professional learning opportunities.Lead efforts to identify opportunities for improvement in diverse areas, analysing needs to inform a system-wide approach to address any gaps.Monitor and analyse key student data (achievement, attendance, engagement) to identify gaps and drive improvement efforts at both individual school levels and across CSPD.Work with Principal Leaders to build consistency in teaching practices by leveraging CSPD resources and ensuring effective time management for teachers.Support Principal Leaders in fostering a proactive safety culture that ensures students and staff feel safe within CSPD schools.The Ideal Candidate:Demonstrated senior leadership experience in an educational system or school environment.Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, with the ability to collaborate deeply to deliver outcomes.Demonstrated experience leading people-focused change in an education environment, with a track record of improving outcomes.Capacity and desire to contribute to the ethos and strategic intent of Catholic schools Parramatta Diocese.Demonstrated depth of knowledge of pedagogy and contemporary educational practice.Ability to monitor student and school progress using data and collaborate to build targeted interventions to foster continuous improvement in student performance.Strong knowledge of Catholic education principles and a commitment to integrating these values into teaching practices and school culture.Apply today!To schedule a confidential discussion about this role or to see a copy of the position specification, please contact ****** now with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role by Sunday 10 November 2024.This position involves working with children.
