We are seeking an experienced People & Culture leader to oversee the delivery of Pulse's People Strategy for a 12-month period covering parental leave.

You will be an integral part of our senior executive leadership team, building on and delivering our people strategy in alignment with Pulse's goals and our values of Agility, Community, Quality, Support, and Play.
You will apply your technical expertise and leadership experience to provide guidance and advice to Pulse's management team and staff.
Ideally, you'll have experience in all facets of employee relations, performance and talent management, employee engagement, learning and development, health and safety, HR systems, change management, reward and recognition, payroll, and reporting.
You will support a team of 5 HR professionals – made up of Business Partners, Payroll, and a P&C Administrator.
The team is engaged and agile, and keen to make a difference and support their business areas.
Some of the key deliverables during the 12-month period include negotiating multiple enterprise agreements, launching a new HRIS, promoting Pulse's new internal reward and recognition program, and embedding a new performance framework.
Alongside this, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the team and ensure Pulse's HR compliance and reporting obligations are met.

Confidence in your understanding of managing complex people-related matters in all facets of HR.

You will have: Experience in managing and mentoring a team to achieve their goals.
Strong technical knowledge in all facets of HR, with a willingness to learn and evolve with legislation and best practice approaches.
A supportive and approachable leadership style, that extends to the whole organization.
Solid understanding of the Australian employment landscape, including the Fair Work Act 2009 and other relevant HR legislation.
Tertiary education and/or relevant industry experience in a HR leadership position.
Experience in leading and managing people for at least 2 years.
